Precautions for installation of dual tank softened water equipment

The dual tank softened water equipment mainly consists of a control valve controlling two resin tanks and a salt tank.

One valve controls two tanks and is equipped with two pistons. One piston is used to control the regeneration program, while the other achieves mutual switching between the two tanks and can continuously supply softened water.

What should I pay attention to when installing those cans of softened water equipment?

The following issues need to be noted during the installation of dual tank softened water equipment:

1. The equipment needs a simple horizontal foundation, about 250-450mm away from the wall, and can be arranged at the corners according to the actual situation;

2. As the equipment itself is relatively light, it is generally only necessary to consider the weight of the resin and water installed in the equipment;

3. The inlet and outlet pipes are connected by standard flanges or threaded connections, and must be securely supported. They cannot be supported by the valve body to prevent stress;

4. A Y-shaped filter and a water pressure gauge should be installed on the inlet pipe to prevent the controller from being blocked by dirt in the inlet pipeline. During equipment operation, there is flushing water discharge, and a floor drain or drainage ditch should be installed nearby;

5. The saltwater tank should be as close as possible to the softening tank, and the shorter the saltwater pipe, the better;

6. The sewage pipe should not be longer than 6m, no shut-off valve should be installed, the outlet should not be higher than the valve body, the terminal opening should be avoided from siphon, and the fewer bends, the better;

7. Install distribution sockets on the wall near the equipment, which should be equipped with fuses (generally do not install switches) and require good grounding.
