1. Soap liquid method

The soap liquid method is a very common method. A certain pressure is applied to the test object, and soap is applied to the outside, and if there is a leak, bubbles will be generated. According to the soap liquid detection method, the leakage can be determined by pressurizing the gas to determine the leakage location and the leakage amount. As long as there is no danger when pressurized, any gas can be used.

The characteristic of this test method is that when performing a leak test, it is possible to operate at any time without stopping the device or disconnecting the test body.
      2. Hydraulic method
In the case of a pressure-resistant vessel, the container or equipment is filled with water and then filled with water with a hydraulic pump. Because this method is pressurized with water, the expansion of water is very small, and it can be pressurized immediately; Therefore, in the event of an accident such as the container being damaged, the bolts of the connection breaking, or the washer flying off, there is no danger.

3. Sound method
The detection principle of the sound method is that when the gas is ejected from the orifice, it will make a sound, and the size and frequency of the sound depend on the size of the leakage, the pressure on both sides, the pressure difference, and the type of gas. This method is very primitive and relies on the sound of listening to determine whether there is a leak, unlike other methods, which can clearly indicate the sensitivity of the detection. The sensitivity of this method is affected by the environment, but it is simple and economical, and the ear and stethoscope are generally used.
      4. Ultrasonic method
The ultrasonic method is to partially cut off the audible frequency in the leaking sound, only partially amplify the ultrasonic wave, and detect it to find the leak.
For testing, the gauge pointer can be oscillated directly with ultrasonic, or the method of returning the ultrasonic wave to the audible frequency range can be used.

Under the noise conditions of a normal factory, the ultrasonic converter is not disturbed, so only the ultrasonic part is detected, and the effect is very good. When judging the leak point, adjust the sensitivity of the leak detector to the maximum, and listen for the suspicious area while moving the microphone; Maximize the sound of the ultrasound and then look for the place where the ultrasound is emitted. In comparison, the method has a small individual error, and the results are similar no matter who uses it.
      5. Rubber film method
The rubber film method refers to pasting rubber film and plastic film tape on the leakage, connecting a funnel on it, and pasting a thin rubber or film on the funnel, if there is a leak, the balloon will bulge.
The gas pipelines used in large factories are observed in this way, with the naked eye, and the results are the same no matter who observes, and there is no human error.

6. Gas detection method
Gas detection method refers to pressurizing the test vessel with a gas other than air, and placing a barrel on the outside of the container that reacts with the gas. If there is a leak, the gas runs outside to react with the substance inside the barrel, and then the reaction substance is detected with a detector. For example, this method is used to test ammonia leakage with test strips. The detection method is very simple and is used a lot in factories, but it is necessary to pay attention to the accuracy of the instrument.

7. Radioisotope method

The radioisotope method uses radioactive gases that are not harmful to the human body for leak detection.
Pressurize the test vessel with air containing a small amount of radioactive gas, and if there is a leak, the radioactive gas will leak out; Y rays can be detected with scintillation counting tubes, etc., so that it is possible to know if there is a leak and the approximate amount of leakage.
The assay is expensive and requires a high level of expertise on the part of the user.

8. Semiconductor detection method
Based on the principle that the conductivity of a certain gas changes when a semiconductor adsorbs a certain gas, a new technology has been developed that uses semiconductors for gas detection.
The detection method is accurate, the error is small, and it is relatively economical, but the stability is not very good.

9. Halogen pressurization method
If the container is pressurized with halogen gas, if there is a leak in the halogen gas, the halogen detector will fluctuate immediately, and it can be judged whether there is a leak. The condensers of large factories and power plants are all used to detect leaks by halogen disorder detectors, which is more convenient and practical.

10. Vacuum method

Vacuum method, which refers to vacuuming the inspection container, and then coating the detection site with water, alcohol, acetone and other liquids; If the solution comes into contact with the leak hole, cover the hole and a flow will be created and the leak will be found.
      11. Thermal conduction detection method
If you know the thermal conductivity, you can know what gas is mixed into the gas. The thermal conductivity detector is more accurate, reliable and stable.
